Apartment Above Stark Industries [Stupidly early Christmas Morning]

After coming home from midnight Mass, Steve had carefully wrapped the gifts he'd gotten for Tony and put them under their Avengers-bedecked Christmas tree. (He loved the guy, but the $3600 coffee maker was not under the tree. For that money, he wanted someone flying in from Colombia with fresh beans every day or something. What the heck, 21st Century.)

He crawled into bed, ready for his five hours of shut-eye before his normal pre-dawn run. He closed his eyes and ran through his normal prayer for Bucky and the hope he was somewhere safe, warm, and not being re-brainwashed, and then curled up around Tony and drifted off to sleep.
